The Need for Car Interior Air Filters

Without a doubt, cars account for one of the major causes of air pollution. Car users are the first to suffer the consequences of the pollution they produce. It has indeed been proven that air pollution within a car is between 2 and 5 times higher than the level detected around roads by special measuring stations. The average pollutant concentration is 0.6 mg per cubic metre, equivalent to 12 mg being inhaled over a 24-hour exposure period.

Polluting Agents

The dangers of PM10 are now notorious. This noxious dust is present in the air, especially in large urban areas, and is increasingly the source of allergies to inhaled dust or pollen.
The particles of dust that enter the car through ventilation or air conditioning systems are too small to be visible to the naked eye (e.g. PM10).
These particles have various origins, but clinical studies have shown that the combination of dust and aromatic hydrocarbons from exhaust gases is particularly harmful to the human organism. It should also be remembered that the most dangerous pollutants are smaller than 5 micron.
